A six-time Southland Player of the Week in 2018-19, Barrios ranked 11th in the NCAA with 20 double-doubles. She also finished in the top six in the Southland in assists (4.3), steals (2.1), and blocks (1.3).The Colonels made the postseason for the second straight year, earning a bid into the Women’s Basketball Invitational. Barrios paced Nicholls to its first 20-win season in program history, which included a school record 14 victories in the Southland.ABOUT BEROE STARA ZAGORAThe women’s basketball team of Beroe is headquartered Stara Zagora in Bulgaria. The team was established in the 1980s. Beroe reached final of the WABA League and finished second in 2017 before winning its first title in 2019. As a senior, Barrios averaged 20.6 points and 10.8 rebounds and was one of just six Division I players to average 20 and 10. Her 660 points set a school single-season record, which was the ninth best in Southland Conference history, and she ended her career with a school record 1,993 points.
